How do I transfer iTunes Library to BlackBerry PlayBook (Videos, Movies, Music)?

I’ve taken my PlayBook on a few road trips for almost one year, and I can say without reservation that it absolutely rocks for watching movies. Days ago when goago Forums, I found many folks hoping to get a solution on how to transfer iTunes Libraray to their PlayBooks. In order to help those who wanna watch iTunes files on BlackBerry PlayBook, here I’m sharing an easy way to get movies and videos from iTunes to PlayBook for enjoying with ease.

First, the most important piece of the equation is that you have a DRM removal software hooked to your Mac or Windows which strips DRM from iTunes. As we all know, TV episodes, movies, and music videos from iTunes are protected by using Apple’s FairPlay DRM copyright protection. DRM protection will probably limit how freely you can move iTunes stuff. I believe music can be but without freeing the other media like the movies and videos from Apple protection, it might be an issue.

So before putting iTunes movies to PlayBook, we need to get around DRM from iTunes and convert m4v to PlayBook supported video formats (e.g. h.264 mp4) along with some help from the third-party software (I’m not about to pay ridiculous prices to buy movies and TV shows for PlayBook I already own on iTunes). DRM removal software varies. A recommended one is Pavtube ChewTune, an ideal iTunes DRM Video Converter which can easily convert iTunes to BlackBerry PlayBook. Meanwhile the playback of the converted videos is as decent as possible as original. If you are using a Mac, you can turn to the equivalent Mac version – ChewTune for Mac Now follow the steps below to realize the way playing iTunes movies on PlayBook without DRM restriction.

The Easy Way To Convert & Transfer iTunes Movies to BlackBerry PlayBook

The software works like most other DRM removal softwares I’ve used. The difference here is you’d better set iTunes not to remember the playback position. Here’s way to go: Launch iTunes, and switch to Movies under LIBRARY. Select the videos you’d like to convert, right click to select Get Info -> Options -> Remember position -> No -> OK.

1. Free Download and run the iTunes movie to PlayBook Converter and import your iTunes files (movies or TV shows) to the program.

2. Select the output format. Here I recommend you “BlackBerry > BlackBerry Playbook Video(*.mp4)” which is a format special designed for PlayBook Tablet and also supply full screen effect.

3. After above steps, just click “Convert” to start removing iTunes DRM protection and converting M4V to PlayBook MP4.

The conversion proceeds as iTunes plays the movies. So DO NOT turn off iTunes until the conversion is completed. Now go get a cup of coffee (conversion takes time).

When the conversion finishes, you can locate the converted video files by clicking on “Open” and transfer them to your BlackBerry tablet with ease. So there you have it. Pretty simple! Now just enjoy and watch iTunes movies on BlackBerry PlayBook the way you like.
